The Process
We aim to make Neighbourhood watch as simple as possible for the community.
1. Each street has a representative, this representative will keep a list of street contact and distribute both a house and bin sticker to every participant.
2. You may occasionally get called if something occurs in your street or if someone is in need of assistance.
3. Regular meetings are held, but attendance is not compulsory. However, it is a great way to get to know your neighbour and solve any street issue!
Here is what is required:
1. You sign up your street to the programme.
2. You keep a list of everyone's names & contact details.
3. You meet once every couple of months with your area coordinator.
4. Should a resident approach you or you notice something suspicious, you discuss this activity with your police contact.
5. Should a resident need help, such as an elderly person needing someone to take out their bin once a week, you will coordinate the other residents to assist this person.
Every representative who signs up five other houses in their street enters the draw for some great prizes! Competition ends 1st August..
