Bus FAQ & Conditions
Licence F Class Licence (endorsement can be added to LR, MR or HR licence).Ordinary "C- Class Licence" is NOT accepted. Capacity 19 Seats (plus driver). Towing The bus has a tow ball connection that is suitable for a 12 volt trailer. Trailer Hire A trailer is available for hire at the rate of $10 /day. 'Lighter Power' There is 12 volt "cigarette lighter" Bus Driver Hirer must provide a driver, we do have a list of possible drivers however DO NOT act as an agent for these drivers as such, hirers must negotiate details with the driver. Fuel Capacity The Bus usually uses APPROXIMATELY 15-17 litres per 100 kilometers. This is an approximation and we recommend you budget for AT LEAST 20 litres. Key Collection Unless prior arrangements have been made, keys can be collected from the Centre and returned as such between the hours of 9.00am and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday. Conditions of Hire All bus hirers must pay a bond, refundable upon satisfactory bus inspection. If the bus is not returned clean (as per cleaning checklist) and with a full tank of fuel (above full line), extra charges & surcharges will apply. The bus booking forms need to be completed and the hirer must advise us of any deficiencies prior to taking the bus out of the storage yard. If this does not occur, these deficiencies be attribute to Side the hirer. Any use of the first aid kit, extinguisher or cleaning items must be reported and paid for. Towing: The bus should not be driven in 5th gear when towing at speeds less than 70km/h. Paid drivers must hold a current “LR, MR or HR” Class Drivers Licence with an “F” Endorsement. Holders of a current “LR, MR or HR” Class Licence (NOT FOR HIRE OR REWARD), who receive any reward for their driving must notify us and require a Statutory Declaration (special circumstances only, the final decision is made by Manjimup Shire CEO). All road traffic laws must be obeyed and any infringements paid for. Original licences must be produced for copying and keeping on record. Drivers must perform their duties within accordance with, and to comply with all the provisions of the Road Traffic Act & the Department of Transport in accordance with the driving of Tourist Coach (TC) licensed omnibus vehicles. |
