Study Health Science or Exercise and Sports Science close to home: new mid-year intake
We have some great news for anyone hoping to kick-start a rewarding Health Science or Exercise and Sports Science career. You can now study Health Science with a major in Health Promotion, Nutrition, or Occupational Safety and Health right here in the South West. Exercise and Sports Science students can also complete the first year of their degree at our South West Campus, then complete the rest of their course at the Joondalup Campus. You can find out more info on both courses here: https://www.ecu.edu.au/degrees/south-west and on the attached flyers. Applications are now open for our Semester 2, 2019 intake. Please note, these courses start earlier than usual, beginning in Orientation Week, which occurs a week before ECU’s standard Semester 2 commencement.

Internships
We are currently seeking internship opportunities for students in their second year of the Bachelor of Health Science course, studying Nutrition, Health Promotion or Occupational Safety and Health. This exciting opportunity will see high-achieving students exposed to their future industries and career paths over a 6-9 month period. The internships, underpinned by a Memorandum of Understanding with ECU, are suited to businesses, organisations and government. If you’re interested in hosting one of our second year Health Science students, or would like further information, please contact me on ph: (08) 6304 2032 or email [email protected]

Short courses
ECU also has a range of short courses, delivered online, that SWAP members may be interested in. See the following link for more information: https://www.ecu.edu.au/short-courses/medical-health-sciences
