Hello Daysies and all our Days for Girls Supporters The first National DfG Conference in Melbourne last weekend and which was mentioned in our attached newsletter has been and gone. It was amazing, rewarding and so beneficial. I put some photos on our DfG Bridgetown Team's FB page. Hope you can spend a moment to check it out. Our Chapter Newsletter is the first issue for 2018 and showing a new format. Huge thanks to Brooke Murphy for putting it all together. Hot off the press, is the purchase of two last-trip sea containers that was transacted last week on our return from the conference. DfG Poliamba are looking forward to having these located in the area designated for their new headquarters’. Thank you for all your support in helping us reach our goals in establishing a DfG Enterprise in PNG. Thank you again for your volunteerism and service in either sewing or non sewing activities, donations of goods or cash or help in raising awareness about Days for Girls. Please share or forward on what we do with your family and circles of friends or work associates. We really cannot imagine what life is like for millions of girls and women around the world who have no access to sanitised or modern methods of managing their periods. Who would think that something so basic and simple as a sustainable pad and shield could bring so much hope and scope to a girl, changing her world from shame, sickness and fear, to freedom, joy and opportunities she never thought possible. We hope you enjoy our news.
