A little about SFEH
The Southern Forest Employment Hub allows employers from all industries across the whole region easy access to exchange information on the availability of jobs and will allow job seekers to lodge their details as well.
Information
The Southern Forests Employment Hub is a pilot program, developed by the Manjimup Community Resource Centre in conjunction with AgriFood Skills Australia. After identifying a service gap between employers and those seeking work in the area, it was established that "word of mouth" was not keeping up with the labour demands, and many skilled workers were not aware of local opportunities for employment.
Due to the diverse industry in our Southern Forest area, required labour demands vary from sector to sector, and can be hard to source and expensive to recruit. To ease this burden, we have created a system which will allow the employer access to job seekers looking for work in our wonderful part of the world.
